Classes & Parties
Group Classes
We offer group classes at the Bakeshop for all skill levels! Past students have included everyone from brand new bakers to professional chefs. Wandering Whisk owner Chef Jennifer leads all of the classes and provides detailed instruction on how to make some of today's most popular desserts such as colorful buttercream layer cakes, cream puffs, macarons & more! Our small class sizes allow for hands-on teaching and personalized attention with each student. Seats in our group classes start at $150 and sell out quickly. We welcome students ages 8+ (unless otherwise noted). Join our email list to be the first to learn about our new classes!
Christmas in July Dessert Class

Get into the holiday spirit exactly 5 month before Christmas! We'll be decorating hand-piped buttercream wreath cakes, our iconic snowmen macarons & snowglobe sugar cookies! This class is perfect for all skill levels.

Coastal Cake Class
Saturday, August 1 at 10:30am
Come cool off from the summer heat and spend a day at the bakery beach with us as we decorate coastal-themed cakes! Learn about the process of stacking, frosting and decorating a layered cake as well as practicing your piping skills. No cake decorating experience required!
Private Classes
We offer private one-on-one or small group classes with Wandering Whisk owner Chef Jennifer Jacobs. This type of class is ideal for the serious baker who wants to refine their pastry skills and allows them one-on-one time with the chef.
Our private classes are also perfect for small groups of family, friends or co-workers. Treat mom to a night of baking for her birthday, send your dessert-loving kid to take a class or host a bachelorette party night of baking! You will take home all of the desserts that you make. Private classes are also perfect to give as a birthday or holiday gift- email us for a gift voucher. We welcome students ages 7+ for private classes. Our most popular classes include cake decorating, macarons & cream puffs.

Private Parties
We offer private parties at the Bakeshop which are ideal for company team building events, bachelorette parties, kids’ birthday parties (ages 7+) and more! The party host is welcome to provide snacks & drinks for their guests. We also offer extended bakery rental time if you’d like to open gifts or plan an additional activity. Some of our popular parties include cupcake decorating, macaron baking & cookie decorating. You will take home all of the desserts that you make. We will plan the perfect party with everything customized to your groups’ liking.
We can typically accommodate up to 12 students depending on the area of interest. We are happy to discuss the various options for your group size.
